Arizona Health & Wellness has teamed up with AZ CORE Fitness to offer you the next step in you journey towards better health. You have successfully lost weight and now you want to learn how to maintain the level you are at, or go even further. Everyone has the ability to become the strong, empowered person they want to be, we are here to help you get there.
The CORE Fitness program is designed to first strengthen your core muscles and reawaken your body to moving well. By strengthening the core muscles you protect your spine, improve your balance while learning how to move efficiently and safely. Once you learn the basics you can develop a strong core and slowly start building your cardio and flexibility while gradually increasing your endurance.
The CORE Fitness workouts are 30 min long. We start off each class with Foundation Training to learn different movement patterns, decompress the spine and strengthen the back core muscles of the body. You can learn more about Foundation Training on the link HERE. Next we will get up and move so please wear clothing you are ready to sweat in.
This class is for everyone that wants to learn the basics of exercise that they can incorporate into a healthy lifestyle, slowly. The goal is to get you moving, moving well & moving often.

Due to the room size classes are limited to 8 so sign up early to secure your spot.

How to sign up
There are 3 steps to signing up to be sure that you will have a spot.
1. Email AZ CORE Fitness to check availablity. You will receive a confirmation email letting you know if there is room. Be sure to include which DAY & DATE you want to join ( Wednesday or Friday) in the email. If the class is full you will have the option to be put on the waiting list for the next week.
2. Fill out the online REGISTRATION form so that AZ CORE Fitness has your information.
3. Submit PAYMENT online so you won't have to worry about it the day of class. There are different options available: you can pay for a single class, a group of 5 or a group of 10 depending on your commitment level.
You can also pay for class the day of, cash and credit cards accepted.
Gear you will need
Exercise band & Mat: will be provided
(available at Target & Sport Authority if you would like your own)
If you have a yoga mat, please bring it with you.
AZ CORE Fitness has extra so everyone will be covered.
